I watched a fair chunk of the Eurovision song contest last night, from Armenia to Cyprus, which is more than I've done for a while. I used to love it, but it got too big and thus too gruelling. I have caught glimpses of it since last posting in 2012 but gone are the days when I could sit through all the performances and the voting.

I've been having a mostly good bank holiday so far. I went to see Indiana Jones and, fortunately I'd dampened down my hopes to one thing, which it didn't mess up, so I wasn't too disappointed. How brilliant was the ending to 'Making Your Mind Up?'. I watched most of the performances, due to a happy combination of curiosity and timing my supper. It's a pointless programme in one sense. Posting this before reading to see others' thoughts about Eurovision. My weekend was pretty good, I didn't get to watch the X-men films, which was as much my poor time-management as anything. I did some reading (may talk about that later) and writing (yay! Not loads, but some.)
